Have you ever had a strong craving for something? Well, the next time it happens, try to resist it. Try to push it back a few hours, then days, then weeks and finally you will reach the state where I was yesterday.
I had a very strong craving for Chicken.
This feeling is unexplainable. It’s like you would be ready to pay a million to have that one piece of good chicken in your mouth. AAAA… it’s unexplainable.
This craving started somewhere around 2:00 PM. I thought, it’s just like other days and will reside after I have some protein-rich meal in the evening. But I was wrong.
At around 5:00 PM, it went out of control.
I went to the nearest place that I knew sells decent chicken. Packed it and walked fast back home.
As soon as I reached home, I snatched open the packing… took 10-12 images because I knew I would need those somewhere (like I’m sharing it with you all here), and ate every bite real slow (what, you thought I would rush, nooooo way). Every bite was so satisfying.
Take a look 😁
You know what, it wasn’t just a craving. While I was eating every bite slowly… I had a thought, a wonderful thought – how blessed I’m to have instant access to such delicious meals that I can buy to fulfil my craving. This is not something everyone has access to.
What about those people who don’t have access to such luxury? Who doesn’t know where their next meal is going to come. And this thought just made me realize once again how blessed I’m. Maybe we cannot do a lot for those men/women but we can always share a little piece of what we have.
So, next time try to feed someone who asks for food. That’s the least we can do. Isn’t it?
Thanks for reading.
