I Need A Solid Morning Routine

September 13, 2021 by Varun Shrivastava Leave a Comment

Morning routine

I’m a morning person.

I like to start my day slow and easy. And by slow and easy I mean I take time for everything. For drinking water, brushing teeth or a bath. I need time.

For the past few days, I have noticed that I’m sleeping late because of which I get up late and then I have to hurry and get ready for office. This is kind of draining my energy levels. So, I need a solid routine that is well-aligned with my habits and moods.

Going forward, I’m setting my alarm to 5:00 AM.

I know it will be hard for the first few days but once I make it my habit then I would get a solid 4 hours before starting with my work. I can use these hours for exercise, meditation, yoga and whatever I like doing in the morning. And I would be ending my day early as well.

This would also align with the shortening of days here in Stockholm.

I would go to bed early and rise early the other day. Keep my body moving and focus on a good diet.

I need this the most, especially this time in my life.
