Superstitions are destroying people's lives in all verticals. There are superstitions like if a cat crossed your way, you will have bad luck. But hey, I've intentionally walked past after cat crossed me. Just to prove a point. And trust me, nothing ever "bad" happened. These are so dumb, that I feel like crushing them.
